it's quite cool actually.haha.
you install the software into the phone, and preset 5numbers like ur mom or dog.
then when the phone is stolen and the thief puts in his sim card,
the software will activate itself and send this msg to the 5preset numbers.

hello. my phone is stolen. the number displayed is the thief's hp number cos he stupidly put in his sim card. pls help me to call police.the area code is XXX.

good huh.
not only does the police get enough evidence and information about the thief,
you get your phone back,
and the thief has to pay for the 5sms sent to the preset numbers.
haha.

there are softwares for handphones, blackberries and laptops.
the good thing is that the edison chen fiasco will nt happen cos data stored in the phone will be erased. but can be retrieved in the website you registered.
